Ohio Pools and Spas Offers Community Support & Youth Baseball Sponsorship

Ohio Pools and Spas Northeast Ohio Youth Baseball and Community SponsorshipOhio Pools and Spas opened in 1957 in Canton, Ohio as a very small business. Despite their growth and success, they remain a locally-owned business that is committed to supporting their Northeast Ohio community. Ohio Pools and Spas take the “pay it forward” philosophy to heart, and share their success through the sponsorship and support of community youth baseball leagues, the local chapter of Make-A-Wish Foundation®, and other local organizations.

When the Westlake Baseball League takes the field this spring, in Westlake, Ohio, look for the Ohio Pools & Spas logo on their team shirts! This is just one local youth baseball team that is benefiting from the sponsorship of Ohio Pools and Spas. Westlake Baseball League’s commitment is to “creating lifetime memories” for their players. However, without the sponsorship of local businesses like Ohio Pools and Spas, their operating expenses would make it very difficult to continue on their mission.

Another area youth baseball team that includes locally-owned Ohio Pools and Spas on its 2012 sponsorship roster is the Jackson Baseball Association 14U Jackson Bears Gold Travel Team. The Jackson Bears Travel League focuses on player development and provides Jackson Township youth with an opportunity to participate in competitive baseball. The third community youth sports league to receive sponsorship from Ohio Pools and Spas is the Lake Baseball. Through their sponsorship, Ohio Pools and Spas are assisting in bringing America’s pastime to young people in several Northeast Ohio communities.

Ohio Pools and Spas are also grateful to have worked with the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Greater Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana, Northeast Ohio Region for the past few years. During that time, Ohio Pools and Spas has been able to grant the wishes of children battling life-threatening medical conditions. They provided in-kind donations of materials and labor for swimming pool wishes to enable Make-A-Wish® families and friends to make lifelong memories.

Ohio Pools and Spas contribute to as many charitable organizations as possible throughout the communities surrounding their three Northeast Ohio locations. Their commitment to the community has touched many lives, directly and indirectly. They have assisted in the excitement of playing on a local youth baseball team, as well as the fun of cheering from the sidelines. They have made dreams come true for those who feared they may not have the chance to live those dreams. They have even donated prizes for a local kindergarten fair!

Like every company, Ohio Pools and Spas hope to continue to grow, and as they do, their support of local youth baseball, Make-A-Wish Foundation®, and other community charitable organizations will continue. Ohio Pools and Spas understand that, just as the company is supported by the community, so should the community be supported in turn.
